This is an exciting time for Compass Support and we are looking for new Trustees to help us forward on this journey. We invite individuals who are passionate about making a difference to the community, as we are a social business that has been helping thousands of people to make a positive change in their lives in many different ways since 2004.

Everything we do is informed and driven by local communities. Our quality interventions lead to successful outcomes for people, positively impacting on their lives. Our opportunities include:

• Services for children, young people and families
• Employment and education
• Older persons support
• Health and well-being

We deliver from our base in the Sanctuary in Castle Vale, together with a second community hub in Falcon Lodge.  Our strong community presence provides easy access to services and our collaborative approach ensures we achieve the best outcomes.

We are currently in the third year of our four year growth plan and we have been successful with our sustainable growth approach delivering a range of services in our anchor neighbourhood Castle Vale as well as North and East Birmingham.

We would invite people to apply to join our board if you can bring either lived experience or professional knowledge around these specific matters:

• Sector knowledge such as: safeguarding, social care, health and well-being, education and employment, enterprise development and children, young people and families, voluntary and community sector, local government.
• Business growth and marketing experience
• Community & Engagement experience
• Knowledge of performance improvement and service planning
• Financial management and risk management and mitigation.

We provide mentoring, training and support to all trustees and would welcome applications from candidates who may not have undertaken a trustee role before.

This is a voluntary position, but associated expenses will be paid inline with our expense policy.
