The Pioneer Group unveils ambitious Corporate Plan for 2025-2028

The Pioneer Group has today launched its Corporate Plan for 2025-2028, laying out the foundation for the next three years, with a vision to improve housing, communities, and enhanced services for customers across Castle Vale and beyond.

With a particularly strong focus on People, Housing, and Community, the three-year plan lays out The Pioneer Group’s commitment to investing in homes, improving services, and ensuring that customers feel safe and supported in both their home and local community. It also backs The Pioneer Group’s role as a key partner in community regeneration, delivering a long term social and economic benefits for their customers.

At the heart of the Corporate Plan is The Pioneer Group’s ambition to create thriving communities where people feel secure and valued. The plan is structured around four key pillars:

People: Placing customers at the heart of services, enhancing communication, and targeting a 90% satisfaction rate by 2028. This includes better complaint handling and improved service accessibility.

Housing: Investing in existing homes and new affordable housing developments, with a commitment to achieving EPC Band C or better for 92% of homes, improving energy efficiency, and meeting all safety regulations.

Community: A continued investment of £1.5 million through the Pioneer Pledge, supporting vital local services including The Sanctuary Community Centre, The Stadium, CCTV, estate services, and broader community-led regeneration projects.

Foundations: Strengthening governance, maintaining financial stability, and driving innovation, including a new digital service offer to enhance customer experience and streamline service delivery.

Francis Burrows, Chair of The Pioneer Group, commented on the change of focus within the new plan,

To ensure the successful delivery of the plan, The Pioneer Group has set out clear and measurable targets, including:

  • Increasing customer satisfaction levels to 90%
  • Ensuring 80% of customers feel their views are listened to and acted upon
  • Achieving 75% satisfaction in how anti-social behaviour cases are handled
  • Improving housing energy efficiency, with 92% of homes reaching EPC Band C or better
  • Strengthening partnerships through a revitalised Castle Vale Partnership, ensuring greater working partnerships across the community
