A Non-Executive Director, Trustee and Mentor.

Carole has 38 years’ experience of work in the Social Housing Sector and retired in April 2016. Her last 20 years at work were spent as an Executive Director for Regeneration. From 1994 to 2004 at Castle Vale Housing Trust and 2004 to 2016 at Walsall Housing Group. Her work experience ranges from housing management, development, commercial new business, supported housing and community development. She is passionate about assisting people and communities to become empowered through education, training, work and active citizenship.

Carole is currently a Trustee for SIFA Fireside which is a homeless charity in Birmingham providing a range of wellbeing and training services at its drop in centre in Digbeth. They currently feed 160 people 5 days a week through donations and volunteers.

She also mentors a young Chief Executive of a small Community Interest Company that provides supported housing for vulnerable women in the north of Birmingham.
