We’re just one day away from our Castle Vale Community Festival!
Ahead of the big day, we’ve rounded up everything you need to know for the festival, from the return of the popular Colour Run to our exciting line-up of performances and everything in between.
The festival will take place from 12pm to 4pm at Farnborough Fields (right next door to the Stadium).
No tickets are needed – the festival is FREE to attend, so come along and enjoy the fun!
There will be plenty to see and do at the event, with a fantastic range of stalls, activities, and attractions on site. Community groups and organisations from across the Vale will be there, including familiar faces such as:
NeuroDivas
Spurgeons
New Testament Church of God
Real Life Church Castle Vale
Castle Vale Baptist Church
Upcycle
There will also be a great selection of food and drink vendors on site. Treat yourself to delicious food from Klassic Donuts, Caribbean cuisine, ice cream van, burger van, and so much more.
Plus, browse a variety of craft and gift stalls selling jewellery, wax melts, personalised gifts and other handmade goodies.
For families, there will be plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained, including:
Bouncy castles
Face painting
Glitter tattoos
Inflatable attractions
Games and family activities
This year, the Colour Run returns with a later start time at 3pm, with a warm-up beforehand at roughly 2:40pm. For those interested to take part in the Colour Run, a waiver form can be completed here.
We’re excited to introduce something new for 2026 … a live performance stage!
Thanks to the support of Nationwide Windows and Doors, performers will take to the stage where visitors can enjoy a packed programme of live entertainment throughout the afternoon.
From local choirs to community performers, there’ll be something for everyone to enjoy. Have a look at the schedule below:

Nationwide Windows and Doors are kindly sponsoring this year’s festival and generously made a £5,000 contribution to the event. Their support has helped fund the stage, toilets, bouncy castles and paint for the Colour Run.
This forms part of the £100,000 of social value they’ve invested through their Windows and Doors programme.
Parking will be limited on the day. If you live nearby and able to, we recommend just walking over to Farnborough Fields to find the festival.
We welcome you to bring your picnic blankets and chairs to help you enjoy the day in comfort.
In terms of weather, the MET Office is currently reporting Saturday’s weather to be much cooler than in recent weeks, with temperatures between 17-19C during festival hours.
If we do have hot weather on the day though, make sure to stay safe in the sun by wearing sunscreen and wearing hats/sunglasses.
With just 24 hours to go, we’re excited to bring Castle Vale together for a day of fun for the whole family.
We’ll see you there!
